Love Languages

There are times in my life when I feel closer to Christ than I do other times. I must admit, the last month or so I have felt somewhat distant. Not that I wanted it to be that way, I have just let everyday life get in the way.

The series that M2 has been teaching on at THF is the Five Languages. It has been an interesting series to discover what mine is (acts of service if you were wondering). However, it wasn't until this past Sunday's service that I really got the message. M2's service was awesome and it stirred something that had been stagnate in me to the point that I was emotional. That is so not me but He has that way of getting my attention in ways I don't expect. I just hope that I don't lose focus again.

"What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ-the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith." Philippians 3:8-9.
